Big twigs is a village located in the southern part Greater Poland Voivodeship, in you will say Ostrów, in the north-west of the commune Nowe Skalmierzyce.

The town is located approximately 18 kilometers northeast of Ostrów Wielkopolski, by the district road Gorzno - Kotowiecko. It has about 230 inhabitants, a small river flows through the town Dark. The village has been known since 1401. In the 16th century it was owned Gałęski.

The biggest attraction is brick mansion (house no. 16) from the 1820s. It is a brick, one-story building with a residential attic, the northern part is two-story.
