Corsos Pinedenses

The Pinedo carnivals are a great tourist attraction, they are proclaimed "The best carnivals in the southwest of Chaco." They began in 1996 as murgas who were deputies in the home districts of each comparsa. Later, the initiative was taken to have a competition between the troupes. The most winning of the carnivals is the Ya Lo Verá troupe, followed by the Fantasía troupe, which has 6 titles plus an additional cup called "Challenger", which was previously achieved by winning a two-time championship. And in third the Carioca troupe, with 3 conquests. These 3 are the troupes that are still in force in the competition.

Comparsa Carioca

The Comparsa Carioca was born in the Santa Rita neighborhood, its colors are orange and white. He achieved a two-time championship (in 2008-09) and the 2012 edition, the year of the town's centenary, receiving the nickname "For 100 years the best." Their maximum rivalry is the Ya Lo Verá troupe, which despite having a very uneven track record of titles, is the 2 that have the most fans and also the 2 most opposed fans: the victory of one implies the charge to the opposite fans.

Fantasy Comparsa

The Comparsa Fantasía, born in the neighborhood, was one of the winners until Ya Lo Verá snatched the leadership. He won 6 titles AND additionally he won a "unique" trophy called Challenger by winning a two-time championship. Its colors are red and yellow.

Comparsa You Will See It

The Comparsa Ya Lo Verá was born in the "Granaderos de San Martín" neighborhood. It is the most winning of the Corsicans, with 8 conquests and also the one with the most double championships. Their rivalry is the Carioca troupe, which despite having a very uneven track record of titles, is the 2 that have the most fans and also the 2 most opposed fans: the victory of one implies the charge to the opposite fans. Its colors are green and yellow.

The other comparsas, of which not much information is obtained, are the following:

Bahía: No title, born in the Ferrocarriles del Estado neighborhood (apparently). He wore the colors green and white Summer Sun: He won 1 title, it is not known in what year his title was won, nor in which neighborhood he was born or what colors he wore.

PINEDO 3KM Marathon

It emerged in 2012 as one of the many initiatives of the town's centenary. It was the idea of Daniel Enrique Baez, from the province of Buenos Aires. The marathon of that year was the day, a yellow T-shirt was used with the phrase "PINEDO 3KM" written on the front and the sponsors on the back, all in black. In 2013 it was done again, started the day and wearing a light blue T-shirt with the same black details. In 2014, something revolutionary was done in the province: The same marathon was carried out, but this time at night, called "PINEDO 3KM NIGHT", being the first night marathon of the Chaco. The runners also put on miner's lanterns to be able to see better at night. The shirt that year was black with white writing. In 2015, due to the elections, the marathon could not be held. In 2016 it will be held again, a red shirt will be used and it is planned to be held in April.
