General Pinedo is a town and municipality Argentinian located in the southwest of the Chaco Province. It is the head of the Department Doce de Octubre.

Corsos Pinedenses
The Pinedo carnivals are a great tourist attraction, they are proclaimed "The best carnivals in the southwest of Chaco." The most winning of the carnivals is the Ya Lo Verá troupe, followed by the Fantasía troupe, which has 6 titles plus an additional cup called "Challenger", which was previously achieved by winning a two-time championship. And in third the Carioca troupe, with 3 conquests. These 3 are the troupes that are still in force in the competition.
Comparsa Carioca
The Comparsa Carioca was born in the Santa Rita neighborhood, its colors are orange and white. Fantasy Comparsa

It emerged in 2012 as one of the many initiatives of the town's centenary. It was the idea of Daniel Enrique Baez, from the province of Buenos Aires. The marathon of that year was the day, a yellow T-shirt was used with the phrase "PINEDO 3KM" written on the front and the sponsors on the back, all in black. In 2013 it was done again, started the day and wearing a light blue T-shirt with the same black details. In 2014, something revolutionary was done in the province: The same marathon was carried out, but this time at night, called "PINEDO 3KM NIGHT", being the first night marathon of the Chaco. The runners also put on miner's lanterns to be able to see better at night. The shirt that year was black with white writing. In 2015, due to the elections, the marathon could not be held. Sleep
The bad thing -very bad to be exact- is the lack of hotels, there are only 2 in the town: Mailin and Parra, El Mailín is a place for truck drivers, El Parra is traditional, an old hotel also recommended. But there is no hotel that caters to tourists in a better way, since the Gualamba was bought from one person. So the town needs a new hotel if it wants to attract attention.

Security
As in all cities you have to be careful, but in this one you have to be careful especially on the streets, since motorcycles and cars go at full speed and without respecting the traffic lights, of course they are penalized after that, in everything else it is safe.
