The Gulf of Sagone (French: Golfe de Sagone) is the largest of the four gulfs on the west coast of the French island Corsica. It is north of the Gulf of Ajaccio and south of the Gulf of Porto. It is limited in the north by Capo Rosso and in the south by Capo di Feno, so in addition to the "main golf" there are also the secondary golf courses Golfe de Topiti, Golfe de Ciuni, Golfe de Pero and Golfe de Lava too.

Tourist Attractions
- Genoese watchtowers were built to overlook the coast. That's why you usually have a nice view from them (or what is left of them). Some examples:
- The 1 Tower above the Plage du Liamone with a view over the whole gulf.
- The tower at the spectacularly situated above a steep cliff Capo Rosso (please refer activities).
- The two opposite churches Eglise Latine and Eglise Greque in Cargèse
- Sagone was a large, important city and one of two Corsican bishoprics until it was sacked in the 9th century. There are hardly any buildings from before, only those 2 Church ruin is still preserved.

- 4 Plage de Sagone : is right in Sagone, but that's why it's pretty full.
- 5 Plague you Liamone , long beach, cut by the Liamone estuary.
- 6 Plage de la Liscia , popular beach on the Liscia estuary near Tiuccia. There are several campsites here.
- 7 Plage de Lava in the Golfe de Lava
- Other, smaller beaches can be found between Sagone and Cargèse.

Chateau de Capraja
It used to be written above Tiuccia 1 Château de Capraja . In the meantime only parts of the foundation walls have been preserved, but one has a wide view over the gulf.
Duration: From Tiuccia approx. 1.5 hours there and back
Capo Rosso
The 2 Capo Rosso marks the northern end of the Gulf of Sagone. It consists of steep, red cliffs and has a Genoese tower on top. This can be climbed. One has a view of the Gulf of Sagone and the Gulf of Porto. The hike there begins and ends at a parking lot on the road from Pigna to Plage d‘Arone.
Duration: approx. 2 hours
Lac de Creno
The 3 Lac de Creno is a mountain lake in the forest above Soccia. The hike begins either there or in Orto, from where it is shorter. As you go around the lake you have a beautiful view of the Corsican mountains. Instead, you can also go to 4 chapel Sant'Elisieu go above the lake, there you also have a beautiful view.
Duration: from Soccia 3 hours, from Orto 2 hours 15 minutes, to the chapel each 15 minutes more.
Mare à Mare North
The Mare à Mare North is one of the Corsican long-distance hiking trails and connects the west and east coast. Start is Cargèse, Destination on the east coast Moriani.
