- The Soča source, Izvir Soce, lies at an altitude of 1050 m and is one of the most beautiful springs in the Alps.
- The Soča created a number of Ravineswhich are located near the village of Soča in the Trenta valley. Access is possible from the street.
- Mlinarica is a wild gorge up to 80 m deep. Access to the estuary and the first waterfall are secured.
- The Boka waterfall is Slovenia's second highest but most powerful waterfall with a height of 106 m
- The Križ lakes, Kriška jezera are three mountain lakes at 1800 - 2200 m above sea level Kriški podi, above the Trenta valley. Accessible via a mountain path near the Pogačnik hut.
- Access to the canyons and waterfalls of the Predelica is only possible with suitable equipment and a guide.

- The Prestreljenik windowPrestreljenikovo Okno is a 6 m wide and 7 m high natural rock window in the SE ridge of Prestreljenik. The mountain path that leads to it is demanding in the last section.

- On the Kaninski podi there are numerous caves and shafts, Kaninska Brezna. The three deepest shafts in Slovenia are also located here, but they are only accessible to experienced cave explorers.

- Visiting many exhibitions and visiting the remains of the Isonzo battles of World War I (Isonzo is the Italian name of the Soča)
- Swimming and bathing. Most of the rivers and lakes in the region are far too cold and raging for that, even in midsummer. The river Nadiže in the north-west has a pleasant water temperature in summer and often a very slow flow rate. There is a bathing beach on the river near Robič, or you can look for a nice spot by the river elsewhere.

Goriška Brda is one of the Slovenian wine-growing regions with a total cultivation area of around 1400 hectares. The main varieties are Pinot Grigio (Sivi Pinot), Ribolla (Rebula), Merlot, Refosco (Refosk) and Cabernet Franc. The Tokaj becomes after the disputes with the Hungarians Sauvignonasse called.
