background
Grijpskerke is located in the heart of Walcheren. It owns a beautiful church in the middle of a terp-like hill. Around this is the rest of the village. Because of its central location, Grijpskerke is the ideal base for exploring Walcheren. You can of course also have a cup of coffee on a terrace in one of the most beautiful village squares in Walcheren while passing through.

Surroundings
Also in Aagtkerke the church stands in the middle of the ring. To the south of the village, the wings of the small, black hexagonal mill, an earth dutchman from 1806, turn.
In Serooskerke the village image is determined by the sturdy tower (16th century) of the Johanneskerk. The nave and choir of the church were destroyed in 1572 and only the nave was rebuilt in the 17th century. The mill "De Jonge Johannes (v / h De Hoop") is a whitewashed belt windmill from 1835.
