Nearby basilica on St. Anna is located Lurdzka Grotto.
History
The grotto was built in 1914 thanks to the efforts of Karol Baum. There used to be a quarry in this place, as evidenced by the characteristic remains, manifested by visible rocks around.
Description
The entire grotto was surrounded by fourteen rock chapels, which form the next stations of the Way of the Cross. Inside, there are bas-reliefs made of limestone. Since the church of St. Anne is not able to accommodate thousands of pilgrims, the main celebrations are held in the Grotto of Lourdes.
