the Kazakh (also called Qazaq; (kk)Qazaq tili, Қазақ тілі) is the official language of Kazakhstan and is also widely spoken in the Kazakh regions of Bayan-Ulgii in Mongolia and in the region of Dzungarian to Xinjiang, in China. The number of speakers in the world is estimated at 13 million, including 10 million in Kazakhstan, 1 million in China, 560,000 in Russia, more than 100,000 in Mongolia and the rest throughoutCentral Asia. It belongs to the group of Turkish languages in the same way as the Kyrgyz, the Turkish, the'uzbek, etc. In the Turkish group, the closest languages are Bashkir, Karakalpak, Kyrgyz, Nogai and Volga Tatar.
Pronunciation
The Kazakh alphabet is derived from the Russian alphabet but is expected to switch to the Latin alphabet by 2025.
