Haigerloch is a German City in the district of Zollernalbkreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The city is located in the valley of the Eyach, on the northwestern edge of the Swabian Alb.

Roman tower
  • The 1 St. Nicholas Church, also known as the Lower City Church, is the oldest church in the city. Parts of it date from the 12th century.

The castle itself was built around 1580 and was built on the site of an older predecessor structure. A renovation in 1662 gave the main building its present form. The new building was built around 1700. The Haigerloch Castle Church was built between 1584 and 1607 under Count Christoph von Hohenzollern-Haigerloch. Under Joseph Friedrich von Hohenzollern-Haigerloch it was converted to Baroque style in 1784. The high altar, which was consecrated in 1609, is considered the most important work of Renaissance sculpture in Hohenzollern. It has over 60 wooden sculptures. An art gallery is housed in the Zehntenscheuer.

  • 10 Museum in the oil mill. The museum deals with the life and work of Nobel Prize winner and physicist Werner Heisenberg. Also here is that Hurm Art Museum housed.
