Hammondsport is a small town on Keuka Lake in Steuben County in the US state new York with almost 1000 inhabitants. In addition to the old town center, a visit to the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum is also worthwhile.

Hammondsport is an excursion destination on Keuka Lake with a picturesque old town center. Its name is derived from its city founder, Mr. Hammond, who founded the city in 1827.

The city is located in a large wine-growing area. Hammondsport is also the starting point for excursions to the wineries on Keuka Lake.
