The Corning Museum of Glass in Corning is one of the top attractions in New York State. Friends of the Wild West, especially the Indians, should, if they're ever in Corning, do that too Rockwell Museum of Western Art visit, which owns the largest art collection on the subject east of the Mississippi.
Painted Post, a suburb of Corning, has a cute history museum. The same goes for the tiny towns of Hartsville (southwest of Hornell) and Prattsburg (between Hammondsport and Naples). The prettiest place in Steuben County is Hammondsport, which has a quaint old town on the shores of Keuka Lake. Fans of Victorian residential architecture should too Addison and Bath visit.
