TheHemkunt Sahib is a Sikh pilgrimage site ofIndia. Sikhs believe that in this place the last Guru completed his union with God, then came down to earth to teach men the true path.

To go
The place is only accessible from June to October.
By bus
Since Haridwar, take the bus to Gobind Ghat, 10 h about bus, for 250 km.
By car
It is possible to rent Jeeps with drivers at Haridwar or to Rishikesh. Shorter, but more expensive than by bus.
Once arrived at Gobind Ghat, we must join Gobind Gham (Also known as Ghangaria), accessible only on foot. 1 200 m of height difference, approximately 3 h. It is possible to rent carrier chairs or Pahari-Marutti at Gobind Ghat and Gobind Gham (Pahari means of the mountain and Maruti is an Indian jeep brand. The Pahari-Marutti is a mule.).
Finally once at Gobind Gham, he stays 1 200 m of height difference to reach theHemkunt Sahib, at 4 330 m.
