- 1 Martinskirche cultural center, Kirchstrasse 29, 27318 Hoya. Tel.: (0)4251-81555. The 900 year old St. Martin's Church is used today as a cultural center for concerts, readings, exhibitions, receptions and civil weddings. Inside is the earliest tombstone of the Counts of Hoya. The bronze sculpture "Paartanz" (2006) by Norbert Thoss stands in front of the church.
- 2 Count's castle in Hoya, Schlossstrasse 3, 27318 Hoya. The first castle was built around 1213. It was destroyed several times and rebuilt. It got its present appearance in the 18th and 19th centuries. Currently only outside viewing possible.
- 3 Manor of Behr, Schloßplatz 1, 27318 Hoya. The building was rebuilt after it was destroyed in 1758 and shows in the knight's hall a painted wallpaper with Alexander Humboldt's trip to South America, which is unique in Europe.
