The town of Isaccea is visited by tourists, both due to the special natural setting, the geographical position located in the vicinity of two very important nature reserves: Danube Meadow and Măcinului Mountains, but also due to historical monuments.
Tourist spots
- Noviodunum Fortress, founded in antiquity by the Romans, located 2 km south of the city, on the banks of the Danube;
- "Saint George" Church;
- Azizye Mosque, in the center of the city, old from the 16th century;
- The Monument of the Heroes of Revărsarea (6 km east), erected on the 90th anniversary of the founding of the village by veterans of the war of independence;
- Cocos Monastery (8 km east), dates from 1633
