Dry Islands (Ilhéu Secos) are an island subgroup of the archipelago of Cape Verde about 8 km north of the island of Brava.
To know
The Dry Islands are located 8km north of Brava, to which they belong administratively. They are all of volcanic origin and none of them are inhabited. Their name is due to the very low rainfall and therefore to the absence of vegetation. Their total area does not reach 7 km².
Ilhéu Grande it is, as its name indicates, the largest of the group being about 1.5 km long and about 600 m wide. Second in size it is Ilhéu de Cima with a length of about 1 km and just 500 m wide. The others interpose between these two islands. The archipelago is clearly visible from both Brava that gives Fogo.
Territories and tourist destinations
There are five islands in the small archipelago. All uninhabited and practically impossible to reach except through navigation with a private vehicle.

How to get
The conformation of the small archipelago makes access practically impossible. There are numerous spurs around the islands and there is no natural bay from which to access them.
