Javorník (German Permanently) is a city in Olomoucký kraj in Czech Republic on the border to Poland.

Javorník is located in the northeast of the Czech Republic in close proximity to Reichensteiner Mountains and to the Polish border. The city with around 3,000 inhabitants today was in the German-speaking region Sudetenland and was therefore known as Jauernig until the end of World War II.
