- The 1 Jerudong Park is a huge amusement park, it was built at state expense and opened in 1994 At first entry was free, but within a few years the park was run down and most of it had to be closed. It has now reopened in a smaller form, access is free for locals, but tickets must be purchased for the rides. The park is a popular meeting place for families on weekends.
