Brunei Muara is the capital district of the Sultanate Brunei.

The district Brunei Muara is divided into 18 sub-districts, called Mukim, however, they are of little tourist interest.
- Bandar Seri Begawan - The capital of Brunei. The extensive urban area extends over 15 mukims, six of which will become the water village Kampong Ayer expected.
- Muara - The port and oil city in the northeast belongs to the Mukim Serasa and is the second largest city in the district.
- Jerudong - Place in Mukim Sengkurong with some interesting tourist sites.

- Selirong Recreation Park. Tel.: 673 2-381687, Email: [email protected]. - A one-hour boat trip takes visitors from the capital to a new attraction in Brunei. Paths on wooden walkways lead through extensive swamps and mangrove forests and offer an insight into a diverse flora and fauna. There is no further infrastructure yet. Tours can be arranged through the park administration.
