The Schrofenpass right at the beginning of the Joe Route
In addition to the Heckmair route and of the Albrecht Route, the Joe Route is one of the most popular Transalp Tours for mountain bikers. The Joe Route begins in Oberstdorf and leads over the Schrofenpass, the Rauhe Joch, the Fimber Pass to Riva del Garda on Lake Garda. The Joe Route is between June and September, depending on the weather. The route is not signposted for mountain bikers, but orientation takes place with the help of a GPS device.
