From Siauliai you can continue on by bus.

From Vilnius

From Vilnius, the options are either a direct train connection to Siauliai, a rental car or a bus. By rental car, the best route is Vilnius-Panevezys-Pakruojis-Joniskis. Buses run twice a day, at 08:25 and 16:30 - these shifts last 4-5 hours. The train connection to Siauliai is about 2.5 hours and sacrifices 35 Litas. There are three shifts, 6:45, 9:30 and 17:30 (valid from 30.05.2010).

From Siauliai you can easily get to Joniskis by bus. The trip costs about ten liters, and takes less than an hour. When choosing a route to Joniskis, by no means take the route that passes through Pakruojis - this is like driving from Helsinki via Hyvinkää to Espoo.

Joniskis has two larger stores, Maxima and Norfa. Both stores correspond approximately to K-Supermarket. Maxima is located about 300 meters east of the church, and opposite the Norfa bus station.

Joniskis Market Hall is located approx. 200 meters west. Meat is mainly sold here, but you will also find a kebap farm and a shop selling biscuits.

Joniskis Market is located behind the city cemetery. Here you can get very cheap clothes, food and even fishing equipment on Saturdays and Sundays.
