Brașov County is located in the center of the country, in the southeastern part of wales.

Historic

Braşov (in Hungarian Brassó megye, in German Created Kronstadt) is a County from Romania located in Transylvania, which includes historical regions Barsa Country, The country of Făgăraș and part of The Christian land. It was established in 1968 through the territorial reorganization of Brașov region (from the districts of Brașov, Rupea and Făgăraș). Most of the territory of today's county was part of earlier Stalin region, from counties (interwar)Braşov, Fagaras and Târnava Mare, from counties (pre-war)Braşov, Fagaras and Târnava Mare, respectively from Rupea chair, The seat of the Five and Burzenland.
