Kashgar(Chinese: 喀什 市) is a city in the autonomous region Xinjiang in China.

Kashgar is an old oasis. Today it is a city that has both modern and traditional sides to offer. Both cars and donkey carts drive the streets. In the side streets everything is still made by hand by young and old craftsmen.
getting there
From Ürümqi there is the possibility of arriving by plane (1.5 hours), by night bus (22 hours) or by train (24 hours).

Kashgar is very easy to explore on foot.
