Khuruthang is a city of Western Bhutan.
To know
Khuruthang is objectively devoid of charm and is a monument to brutal concrete architecture. However, as the city is the final destination of shared taxis from Thimphu, independent travelers who make their way to the much more pleasant Punakha and its famous dzong generally have to go through here.

- Khuruthang Lhakhang (It is located just below the taxi rank). Modern temple devoid of the interesting corners and glimpses typical of Bhutan's oldest temples, although it is definitely worth a visit.
