During World War I, from February 28, 1915, the Germans built a narrow-gauge railway in order to improve the supply of their troops (food, weapons, ammunition, military equipment) on the front line around Rawa Mazowiecka and the valley Rawki. The railway ran from the normal gauge track in Rogów towards Rawa Mazowiecka and Biała Rawska. The shift of the front to the east changed the purpose of the line, it began to be used to transport agricultural produce (including beetroot to sugar factories) and wood. However, in 1917, the transport of passengers on the route from Rogów to Biała Rawska was also introduced. After Poland regained independence, it was incorporated into the structures of the newly created Polish State Railways, under which it operated until the end of the 20th century.

In 2001, a decision was made to liquidate it. It was then that a group of young railway enthusiasts decided to create the Polish Narrow Gauge Railway Foundation, save the railway from decommissioning and maintain passenger tourist traffic during the summer months. Thanks to the support of the initiative by the Poviat Starosty in Rawa Mazowiecka (which took over the line and rolling stock from PKP), they succeeded, and since 2002 the Foundation has been a full-fledged operator of the Narrow-Gauge Railway Rogów - Rawa Mazowiecka - Biała Rawska. organized by organized groups, and as a novelty, they launched regular courses available for individual tourists. The railway runs practically from the end of April to October each year, along various sections of the 50 km long railway route.

The same enthusiasts in the socially created open-air museum of narrow-gauge railways in Rogów at the railway station created a museum collection of narrow-gauge rolling stock, consisting of over 50 objects, the largest in Poland in terms of the number of vehicles and one of the largest in Europe.

According to the register of monuments National Heritage Institute (NID), the following objects have been entered on the list of monuments since 1996 (reg.No .: 1000 A of December 31, 1996):
