  • 1 Chita  – The capital of the Krai of Transbaikalia.
  • 2 Aginskoye
  • 3 Chara (Чара)
  • 4 Nertchinsk  – Small town that developed around a fort built in 1654.
  • 5 Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky  – The city developed around an iron and steel factory which was called "Stone Factory" (Petrovsky Zavod), in homage to Tsar Peter the Great. Its station is a stop on the Trans-Siberian railway
  • 6 Zabaikalsk  – Border town on the main line connecting the People's Republic of China to Russia. Its station is located on Chemin de fer Transmandchourien, a section of the Trans-Siberian railway.
