  • Archbishop's Palace - a UNESCO monument, originally a Gothic-Renaissance castle, was destroyed during the invasion of the Swedish army in 1643. During the reign of Bishop Charles Liechtenstein, a great conversion of the castle into an early baroque residence was carried out, led by the architect G.P. Tencalla. The palace served as the episcopal residence and administrative center of the bishopric in Olomouc. The palace houses historic rooms with stylish interiors, a picture gallery (works by Titian and Lucas Cranach the Elder), a valuable music archive, a historic library and a rich numismatic collection.
  • The Castle Garden - a UNESCO monument, the present nature of an open-air park with an area of 64 ha, acquired in the first half of the nineteenth century, when it was enriched with numerous buildings, such as the Pompeian Colonnade, the Chinese Pavilion and the Maximillian Court.
  • The Flower Garden - a UNESCO monument, a unique example of a baroque garden in the Czech Republic. It was built in the years 1666–1675 according to the design of F. Lucchese and G.P. Tencalli. In the garden there is a colonnade with a length of 224 m with statues of figures from Greek mythology. In the middle of the park there is an octagonal pavilion (rotunda) decorated with antique sculptures, frescoes and mosaics.
  • Town Hall - first mentioned in 1574, but it is known that it existed earlier. It was given its present appearance around 1611, and was reconstructed at the end of the 17th century. Currently the seat of the Municipal Office.
  • Museum of the Region - located in a house built in 1609 in the late Renaissance style. In the years 1636–1649 a Jesuit boarding school was located here.
  • St. Maurice - a gothic church built in 1260 by bishop Bruno of Shauenburk. In later years, the church suffered severely from fires and robberies, especially during the Hussite wars. It was restored in 1516 thanks to the efforts of the then bishop Stanisław Thurzon. Further reconstruction works were carried out during the reign of Bishop Stanislav Pavlovský and ended only at the end of the 16th century. The present appearance of the temple is due to the reconstruction in the neo-gothic style after the fire in 1836.
  • St. John the Baptist - built in the years 1737–1768 at the end of the Baroque period. The architecture of the temple is a combination of Austrian and Czech ideas of the builders. It is one of the most valuable baroque monuments in Moravia.

  • Archbishop's wineries - founded in 1266 by bishop Bruno of Schauenburk. In 1345, the Czech king Charles IV granted wineries the right to produce mass wine; Since then, natural wines have been produced here according to Vatican standards.
