In the Czech Republic, the Czech crown with an international abbreviation is used CZK, however, the abbreviation that can be found in stores is CZKCredit cards are generally accepted, but in some roadside restaurants or small shops paying with them can sometimes be a problem. There is no rule here, although the bigger the shop and the bigger city, the smaller the problem becomes.

Drive

By plane

The largest Czech airport is Airport in Prague.

By train

The Czech Republic has a very dense rail network.

By car

After joining the European Union, traveling by car does not cause any problems. The roads are regularly renovated, kept in winter and usually in fairly good condition - especially the main ones.

Only their marking leaves much to be desired: the signposts are small and, apart from the highways, you have to get used to the manner of giving the direction, not to the main big city, but to the next poviat one.

Gasoline and diesel oil are widely available, worse with LPG (until recently it was forbidden in the Czech Republic). Fuel prices are higher than in Poland.

Toll motorways and expressways. You can buy a toll vignette at the border or at a gas station, the lack of it is punishable by a severe fine.

By bus

We can travel from Poland to the Czech Republic by the company's coaches http://polskibus.com

Border crossings

Since 2007, crossing the border is possible in all accessible places.
