The Kurpie Heath also Green heather (Polish: Puszcza Kurpiowska also Puszcza Zielona before Zagajnica ) is a large natural forest area in the north of the voivodeship Mazovia in the historical region Kurpie. It is one of the largest forest areas in the voivodeship. There are numerous streams, swamps and bogs. The heather is used by the Pisa, the Narew and the Orschütz flowed through. Much of the heather is protected as a landscape protection park. It has been a royal hunting ground for the Polish-Lithuanian kings since the Middle Ages. There are numerous occurrences of amber. Amber therefore plays an important role in Kurpie folklore.

The area is well developed for tourism. You can arrive via Ostrołęka. Regional transport hub is Myszyniec.
