La Manga del Mar Menor is a region of Murcia.

What was once a 23-kilometer-long thin line of sand that separated the salty lagoon from the Mediterranean Sea, has now become, environmental problems aside, a complete vacation spot where you can spend a pleasant vacation in summer (if you are a vacationer) or a relaxed stay (if you come in winter or spring).
The overcrowding of hotels and apartments has attracted all kinds of shops and services to La Manga. You can go from playing golf on a 9-hole course to relaxing in a spa.
However, the main attraction of La Manga is sailing. Its privileged position between two bodies of water allows us to practice sailing whatever the wind conditions. Due to this, a large number of sailing schools and equipment rental (sailing and motor) have emerged throughout La Manga.
You can also find a wide offer for the most partying, or simply for those who want to go out and have a drink in a very lively atmosphere.
Travel
La Manga del Mar Menor is characterized by a single large road (La Gran Vía de La Manga) that runs from south to north. It is a two-lane road without interruptions of any kind (roundabouts, stops, etc ...), whose traffic is controlled only with traffic lights. For the U-turn there are dozens of lanes along the entire road (practically every 100 meters there is one).
The Gran Vía has branches that allow access to both the beaches and the hotel and apartment complexes. Traffic can be confusing on some of these roads (for example, in the Monte Blanco or El Zoco area), although they all lead to Gran Vía. It is advisable to have a map of the area where you are going to spend the summer or at least know it .
In addition to motor traffic, La Manga has a bike lane for almost its entire length (some sections of the lane continue on the other side of the road or are non-existent at some points due to the narrowness of the land).
Talk
Given the vast majority of visitors to the Community of Madrid, on summer dates, neutral Castilian Spanish is the most common form of Spanish that can be found. However, certain places are designed for visitors from other countries, with signs and shops in Almean or English, although they represent a minority.

The best area to buy is the ZOCO is in the Plaza de la Bohemia.
To eat
- Packet - great rice dishes, rice with lobster, cauldron, also fried fish. They are very nice. It is before reaching the elevated bridge near the Tomas Maestre port.
Drink and go out
The nightlife of La Manga is, together with the beaches, the greatest attraction that can be found in this place. There are places for all tastes: from a good dinner and a drink in the restaurants in Plaza Bohemia, to the typical food in the restaurants in the Las Sirenas area.
Regarding the party, the place most frequented by tourists (in addition to Plaza Bohemia) is El Zoco. There you can find hamburgers, kebabs, cafes and bars. The discos of La Manga are also there. It is a place with a lot of atmosphere and many young people, where large bottles are organized on weekends.
Respect
La Manga is a very delicate area now overcrowded but not as crowded as other beach sites, respect the small beaches but some are very quiet,
Health
Compared to the population that it can have in summer, La Manga's offer is very scarce. It only has a health center located before the Castillitos urbanization, past El Zoco.
Regarding Pharmacies, there are two: one in Plaza Bohemia (km 3.3) and another past the Eurovosa urbanization. There is always one on duty.
