La Rioja - Autonomous Community and Province Spain with no access to the coast. It is crossed by the Ebro and the Oja River (río Oja), from where La Rioja takes its name. It borders with Basque country and Navarre in the north, with Aragon in the east, and with Castile and Leo on the south.
