Langadia (Greek: Λαγκάδια), also Lagadia or Langkadia, is a mountain village in the Greek region Arcadia.

About 100 years ago Langadia had almost 8,000 inhabitants, but this number has continued to shrink over the years. Not entirely without reason. The place is at an average altitude of 1100 m, but here it really shows what "average" means: one half of the town is well above, the other well below. In the middle runs the main street known as E55 is known and should actually be wider, but in Langadia this is not possible due to the terrain. The residents have good faith in God in this regard, in some places the width of the street was only made possible by high retaining walls. There is no industry in Langadia, jobs are scarce in the whole area and many of the younger people have moved away. You can see abandoned courtyards again and again between picturesquely decorated houses. The display in small shop windows is more reminiscent of a rural museum than a modern rural community. Nevertheless, you feel at home here: not least because of the hospitality of the residents, but also because of the charming landscape.
Today the once independent Langadia belongs to the municipality of Gortynia.
