Langen is best known today as the seat of a number of important federal agencies, including the German Air Traffic Control as well as that Paul Ehrlich Institute. In Langen there is also the 27-storey one Alpha skyscraper the highest residential high-rise in all of Hesse with an imposing view from the top floor, not even Frankfurt comes close to Langen.
