Lietzow is a holiday resort on Rügen, located between the small and large Jasmunder Bodden.

By train
Railway station in Lietzow. Arrival via Bergen, Binz, Sassnitz or Stralsund. Further connections to Rostock or with the "Rasenden Roland" via between Göhren and Lauterbach.

- Semperheide with the near-natural Semper Forest Park. Here you can find at 1 Domed beeches in the Semper Forest Park a thick grove of Domed beeches (? = Witch trees). Otherwise you can find another one here Water tower ruin. Here in the Semper Forest Park you should definitely make a detour to the beautiful cliffs on the Bodden. Somewhat northwest of the beeches at 2 Cliff stairs at the Semper Forest Park leads a Wooden stairs to the wild beach. Here at the latest, you can enjoy the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.
- Location: The Semper Forest Park is located a little north of Lietzow. From the parking lot at the curve of the main road, the bike path and hiking trails in the forest are about 2 km easy to the domed beeches. Anyone traveling by bike can take the cycle path to the entrance to Gut Semper. Shortly from the manor (private) connect the bike and explore the forest park on foot (from on the way to the water tower ruins).

- Lichtenstein castle - As a special feature and multiple photo motif, a reduced version of Lichtenstein Castle from the Swabian Alb towers over the town. If you drive in the direction of Sassnitz on the B 96 through Lietzow, the building will in principle catch your eye. The replica of Lietzow was built around 1868. The building is in privately owned and can therefore not be visited.

Practical advice
- 1 Public toilet. The toilets are located in the small service building at the bathing area directly on the bike path. If the wooden house is open (opening times?), The toilets are accessible by throwing a 50 cent piece into the mechanical door machine. In addition to the toilets, there are also showers.
