Lietzow is a holiday resort on Rügen, located between the small and large Jasmunder Bodden.

Lietzow is the origin of the so-called Lietzow culture around 6,000 years ago. The Mukran ferry port borders the municipality.

The nearest commercial airport is Rostock Laage Airport.

By train

Railway station in Lietzow. Arrival via Bergen, Binz, Sassnitz or Stralsund. Further connections to Rostock or with the "Rasenden Roland" via between Göhren and Lauterbach.

By bus

Location: The Semper Forest Park is located a little north of Lietzow. From the parking lot at the curve of the main road, the bike path and hiking trails in the forest are about 2 km easy to the domed beeches. Anyone traveling by bike can take the cycle path to the entrance to Gut Semper. Shortly from the manor (private) connect the bike and explore the forest park on foot (from on the way to the water tower ruins).

The building is in privately owned and can therefore not be visited.

  • 1  Public toilet. The toilets are located in the small service building at the bathing area directly on the bike path.
