Loja is a city in Andalusia.

background

Loja is located in Andalusia between Málaga and Granada. The small town has been spared from tourism in Andalusia and therefore offers a nice insight into real life in Andalusia. Its location on the A-92 gives you the opportunity to take a short break and have a coffee in the small town. Loja has partly left the path to modernity behind her, so it can no longer really be considered a "white village", it is almost too big for that. The original part of the city still fulfills what one would expect from a white village.

getting there

By plane

The nearest airport is that Malaga airport. From here it is about 90 kilometers to Loja.

By train

The city is on the railway line from Bobadilla to Granada. In Bobadilla you can change trains in all directions. From here you can reach Seville, Cordoba and Málaga. The train station is in the northeast of the city. A connection to the high-speed line is also in the planning stage Seville-Granada.

By bus

Bus connections also follow Málaga and Granada and regional (bus connections) to the surrounding area.

In the street

Loja can be easily reached by car from the west and east via the A-92. It is more difficult to the north and south due to the valley location. Instead you have to head west Antequera and to the east direction Granada drive.
