Luxor is crossed, on its right bank, by the trans-African road 
who links Cairo at Cap. It is a paved road, most often with separate carriageways but accessible to any type of vehicle including carts, which bears the no "02" in Egypt. Either way, follow the signs الأقصرLuxor
