Mäntsälä[1] is a municipality in the province of Uusimaa.

Mäntsälä is a rapidly growing municipality with about 20,000 inhabitants in Central Uusimaa.
The municipality consists of 18 village centers: Arola, Hautjärvi, Herman Onkimaa, Hirvihaara, Kaukalampi, Levanto, Maitoinen, Mäntsälä church village, Nikinoja, Mattila, Numminen, Ohkola, Olkinen, Saari, Soukkio, Sulkava, Sälinkää and Sääksjärvi.

Mäntsälä is located in Helsinki and Lahti along the motorway between.
By bus
Buses from Helsinki to northern and eastern Finland and Lahti stop in Mäntsälä.
By train
The Helsinki-Lahti straight line was completed in 2006, and it became possible to come to Mäntsälä by train. The journey from Helsinki by Z-train takes about 39 minutes.

By road
Mäntsälä is along the Lahti motorway. Highway 4 also passes through Mäntsälä. There are several traffic lights to pass through the city center. The history of several traffic lights can be found from the time when Highway 4 was not.
By bus
There is no public bus service in the Mäntsälä city center area. The bus station provides fast and local services in different directions.
Walking
Mäntsälä Train Station is about two kilometers from the city center. The main attraction of the city center is Keskuskatu, along which most shops and services are located.

- 1 Mäntsälä Church. The church is handsome and is open in the summer as a road church. Kirkonmäki also has the Kirvu Parish Museum.
- 2 Hard Rock. A stone erected for the Lordi band Amen. The material is the world's hardest stone to be mined in Mäntsälä, Aurora granite / Migmatite.
- 3 Alikartano (The village of Numminen). Served as a museum since 1983. The museum café Hedda Noora operates in the same connection.
Tea
There are several public beaches (no swimming control) and nature trails in the Mäntsälä area. Among other things, there is a five-kilometer signposted "hawk tour" in the village of Saari (starting point near Saari Manor).

- 2 Frisbee golf course (Anttila area). An 18-hole frisbee golf course (challenge class AA1) was opened in 2013 around the old gravel pit.

Brasserie Pihvi-Maja has possibly the best selection of more than 14 malt whiskeys in all of Mäntsälä, and there are also several special whiskeys on display that are not for sale. The place is open all year round for lunch and otherwise mainly during the summer. Whiskey lovers should definitely pop in here.
Rekolan Panimo, a small brewery that moved to Fiskars in 2014, started brewing operations in Mäntsälä.

In summer, Mäntsälä's Suurlava has a lot to offer the stage dance people.
In Nummiss, in connection with the Nummi village store, there is a KohinaBar, where you can find a wide and high-quality beer selection. In the village of Sälinkää there is Gasthaus Wäinölä with a bar. Wäinölä has a selection of more than 3,000 karaoke songs. On weekends, there is sometimes a free "karaoke taxi" from Mäntsälä bus station to Wäinölä, and back.
