At Pikku Vesijärvi there is the largest fountain in Scandinavia. The music show in which the fountain serves as a water organ is particularly worth seeing. If possible, I would recommend visiting in the dark. In the summer months (until September) it always takes place at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. In October at 7:00 p.m. After that only on request.

No alcohol is allowed in the winter center; In the restaurant and at stalls you can get warm food and drinks. The great hall sometimes houses rides, so to speak, a fair in the hall, which is not a very common and therefore interesting sight.

The place Verla is about 70 km east of Lahti, there is a former cardboard box factory worth seeing. This was built in 1882 by the Austrian Gottlieb Kreidl instead of a similar company that had previously burned down. He gave his workers exceptional social benefits for those times. The factory buildings are completely preserved, it is on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Site
