Maladetchna (in Belarusian : Маладэчна) or Maladzietchna (Belarusian: Маладзечна) or Molodetchno (in Russian : Молодечно) is a city of Minsk voblast, in Belarus.

Understand

Before the war, Molodetchno was mainly a shtetl (Jewish town). After the Holocaust, almost nothing remains of this past. After the war, the shape of the city changed dramatically not only in terms of population, but also its structure. What is the current city center was in fact only built after the war, while the historic center is now a bit on the outskirts. Some architectural vestiges of the city's relatively important role as a local capital are still visible in the city.
