Man-O-War Cay is an island of Bahamas.

background
The island of Man-O-War Cay is only 4 km long and 400 m wide. There is only one place there. The residents, loyalists from the American northern states, are known to be good shipbuilders. As early as 1888, William Albury operated the first shipbuilding yard here. The Albury family was one of the first settlers in the cays. At the widest point of the island is the settlement with two parallel streets. Bay Street runs along the harbor, the Queen's Highway at a distance of approx. 50 m. It opens up the island as the only continuous road on the entire length of the island. The population is deeply religious, almost exclusively white and the sale of alcohol is forbidden, consequently there are no bars on the island. Life is very calm, harmonious and so far with very little tourism.
300 Bahamian residents and 135 foreign families live there, some of them as winter residents.
