Mangrove Cay is an island at Andros on the Bahamas.

Mangrove Cay, also called Central Andros, has only a few very small villages that stretch along the road. There has only been electricity there since 1989. Most of the population lives from fishing. The only and main road, also here it is the Queen's Highway, runs around 16 km from north to south along the coast.
Between North Andros and Mangrove Cay is the 10 km wide Big Wood Cay. This island is privately owned. There are a few houses on the southeast corner and there is also a helicopter landing pad.
Lisbon Creek: This cluster of houses is located to the southeast of Mangrove Cay. There is the pier for the passenger ferry to South Andros and for the post boat to Nassau.
Little Harbor: This is Mangrove Cay's only major location. The northern part of the place will Moxey Town called. The district is 6½ km south of it Dorset with the island clinic and the telephone company office.

ferry
Passenger ferry from Lisbon Creek, Mangrove Cay to Drigg's Hill, South Andros. Departures at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., travel costs: the crossing is free at the two times indicated, a fee must be paid at other times.
Mail ship
The Mailboat Lady Katherina sails from Moxey Town via Lisbon Creek to Nassau. Travel time is 5 hours and a one-way fare is $ 45. Departure from Nassau on Tuesday at 2:00 a.m., return from Mangrove Cay on Monday at 5:00 p.m.
