El-Mamariya (Arabic:المعمارية‎, al-Maʿmārīya, tooنخع المعمارية‎, Naǧʿ al-Maʿmārīya, „Hamlet of al-Maʿmārīya") is a egyptian Village about halfway between Esna and Edfu on the western side of the Nile. On the eastern edge of the village is the so-called. Pyramid of el-Kula.

The village of el-Maʿmārīya is located about 25 kilometers southeast of Esna and 25 kilometers northwest of Edfu.

The village is on the main road between Esna and Edfu and can be easily reached by taxi or minibuses.

Tourist Attractions

The main attraction is the 1 Pyramid of el-Kula(25 ° 8 ′ 0 ″ N.32 ° 44 ′ 1 ″ E), Arabic:هرم الكولة‎, Haram al-Kula. It is one of the best-preserved so-called small step pyramids. It is located on the eastern edge of the village, west of the trunk road and about one kilometer from the Nile.
