  • 5 Fez - Fès is the old capital of Morocco and one of the oldest and largest medieval cities in the world.
  • 6 Ifrane - Colonial health resort, Ifrane is the base for excursions to the nearby cedar woods that cover the slopes of the Middle Atlas. It houses the prestigious Al-Akhawayn University.
  • 7 Imouzzer Kandar - is another center 36 km from Fez, reputed for the freshness it offers in summer. Located at 1,300 m. above sea level, Imouzzer offers panoramic views over the Sais plain.
  • 8 Itzer - Itzer, a small Berber town southeast of Azrou, dominates a plateau and the mountains of the Middle and High Atlas.
  • 9 Meknes - Modern and quiet city that offers a break for tourists coming from Fès.
  • 10 Midelt - 190 km from Meknes on the N13 highway, Midelt is a stone-built village in the Middle Atlas Mountains. Nearby is the village of Aouli with interesting excursions to the gorges of the same name and the nearby qasbahs.
  • 11 Sefrou - is a center 27 km from Fez. It is a village of white houses that has preserved an ancient Jewish quarter (mellah).
  • 12 Tafilalet - A set of oases bordering theAlgeria.
  • 13 Taza - is the base for excursions to the Tazekka National Park. The health resort of Ifrane at 1713 m a.s.l. it is also surrounded by cedar woods.
  • 14 Zaouiate Oued Ifrane - A quiet, extremely scenic Berber village nestled in the Middle Atlas.
