Merimda Beni Salama (also Merimde Beni Salama / Salame, Arabic:مرمدة بني سلامة, Marimda Banī Salāma), is a village in Nile Delta west of the western resp. Rosetta-Nilarms, about 50 km northwest of Cairo in the egyptian Governorate el-Buḥeira near the border with the governorate el-Minūfīya. The archaeological site from Neolithic times is about 2 km south of the village (30 ° 19 'N, 30 ° 51' E).
