Międzylesie

Międzylesie(German: Mittelwalde) is a mountain town in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship not far from the sources of the Glatzer Neisse in the extreme south of the Glatzer Ländchens between the Habelschwerdter Mountains and the Glatzer snow mountains in the Medium brews. Its location makes the place an important center of tourism in the Glatzer Ländchen. The city is the starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains.

Mittelwalde was first documented as a town in 1294. It belonged to the Cistercian Abbey of Kamenz. In 1428 it was destroyed by the Hussites. In 1869 the place was connected to the rail network of the Glatz-Mittelwalde railway line. The place continued to develop, with the exception of the times of the world wars. In 1945 he came to Poland.
