Ząbkowice Śląskie(German: Frankenstein) is a mountain town in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the Sudeten foreland at the foot of the Reichensteiner Mountains, a part of the Medium brews. The city is the starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains. It lies on the Budzówka, a tributary of the Glatzer Neisse.

The place was founded before 1287. Due to its location on the trade route from Prague above Wroclaw to Gniezno.
