Paczków(German: Patschkau) is a mountain town in the Opole Voivodeship between the Reichensteiner Mountains and the Zuckmanteler Bergland in the Sudeten at the Glatzer Neisse. The place is the starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains. He is on Sudeten main hiking trail between the Patschkau reservoir and Ottmachau reservoir.

The city was founded in 1254. The castle was built before 1301. In the age of Polish particularism, the city belonged to changing duchies until it came to the principality of Neisse, which has been dependent on the fief of Bohemia since 1342. The city was destroyed and rebuilt in the Hussite Wars and the Thirty Years' War. In 1742/1763 the place came to Prussia. In 1874 the place was connected to the rail network.
