Naha is the administrative seat of the Japanese prefecture Okinawa on the eponymous island.

getting there

By plane

1  Naha airport (那覇 空港, Naha Kūkō, IATA: OKA) (Close to town, 4 km to the center). There are several ports in Naha:

At the end of March, fishermen hold races in the harbor with dragon boats similar to Chinese models.
