Nakuru is a city inwest of the Kenya.

Fourth city of Kenya by population, Nakuru is a center that bases its economy on agriculture.
Pleasant, despite the dusty roads, Nakuru is the base for excursions to the Manengai crater and the homonymous lake, populated by colonies of marabou and flamingos with pink plumage. The lake is just 2 km from the center.
Nakuru began to develop in the early 19th century, when it was reached by the railway. It was then that it was invaded by European settlers attracted by the fertility of the soils. Hugh Cholmondeley, third Baron Delamere (1870 - 1931), secured 600 ha of land on which he started a cattle ranch and a profitable dairy industry.

Halfway through it intersects the Moi Road which goes north-south. Near the intersection is the town hall and on the Club Road the "Rift Valley Sports Club", a 1920 building that housed the Nakuru club in colonial times.

Nakuru is full of restaurants. The cheapest are located in the eastern sector of the city, near the bus station. Among these, one of the most recommended is the "New Mount Sinai Restaurant" on Bazar Road. It is open for lunch and dinner.
