background

This 10 hectare island is hardly longer than 500 m and only about 200 m wide. A flat, short bridge connects it to the mainland. On the island you will only find the marina with the associated facilities. In 2000, the current owner saved the entire facility from bankruptcy.

On the opposite side of the mainland from Tortola is the small town of Hannah, the Pleasant Valley and the Thomason Thornton Plantation. To the north is Sea Cow's Bay, then you go around Fort Hill and reach Road Town.

In the other direction, to the southwest, after about 1½ km you reach the small town of Havers, Pockwood Pond and the remains of an old fortification.
