The Kampinos National Park(Polish: Kampinoski Park Narodowy) is a national park in Poland. He is in the Mazovia and is part of the Kampinos junglewhich is immediately west of Warsaw extends. The administrative headquarters of the national park is located in Izabelin about half an hour's drive northwest of the Polish capital.

history
The park was designated as early as 1959.
landscape
The national park is 385.4433 km², making it one of the largest national parks in Poland.
Flora and fauna
It is home to a jungle, moor and swamp landscape, where deer, roe deer, elk, beaver and lynx still live. The symbol of the national park is the moose.
climate
Due to the location, the weather in the nature park is relatively continental with cold winters and warm to very warm summers.
getting there
Of Warsaw buses drive to Łomianki. The national park is also conveniently located from Plock can be achieved.
Fees / permits
There is no fee to enter the national park.
mobility
Hiking and cycling can be enjoyed in the park along the hiking trails. Leaving the marked hiking trails is generally not allowed.
Tourist Attractions
The main attraction of the park is the wildlife. In the park is at Palmiry a mass grave of several thousand murdered civilians from World War II. In the park there are also memorials of battles from the January uprising and the German attack on Poland. The village is on the edge of the national park Żelazowa Wolawhere the birthplace Fryderyk Chopins can be visited.
