- You can take a very instructive tour of the network of subterranean passages that branches below the city, the Nürnberger Felsengänge. For centuries, tunnels were dug under the city that served as a brewery, distillery and gherkin factory, among other things, and later used as a shelter during wartime bombings. The corridors have several floors and are always cool. Afterwards, you will be given a tour of the above-ground brandy distillery with tasting. The tour is in German by default.
- During the Christmas season, the Christmas market from Nuremberg to one of the largest and most impressive in Germany. You will find an abundance of stalls selling mulled wine and the renowned Nuremberg Lebkuchen.
